ISTOM, l'unique formation d'ingénieur en agronomie et développement international

L’ISTOM est une école d’ingénieur française qui a pour vocation de préparer ses élèves à la conception, la mise en œuvre et la gestion de projets dans les pays en voie de développement.

Elle offre une formation solide et pluridisciplinaire essentiellement consacrée aux fondamentaux des sciences du vivant, économiques, politiques et sociales, mais également des sciences de l’ingénieur et à leur mise en pratique dans le cadre des projets de développement.

OUR SCHOOL

ISTOM, a unique training in international agro-development

ISTOM is a French engineering school of international agro-development. As well as training engineers in international agricultural development, the purpose of ISTOM is to prepare students in designing, implementing and managing agro-economic development projects in developing countries.

To accomplish that objective, ISTOM offers a 5-year program, teaching multidisciplinary fundamentals (life and earth sciences, basic sciences, human sciences such as economics or sociology) and management of agro-development projects. Each year, students are led to combine their theoretical knowledge with professional realities through internships and missions such as the Junior Expert Assignment

A new team each year

SEEDS (Social and Environmental Expertise for Development and Solidarity) was created in 2013 by 9 students. Since then, it has welcomed a new team of junior experts each year working on many varied projects.
